Replacement diamond sharpening steel for the Global diamond sharpener. The Global knives diamond sharpening steel, purpose designed to complement the Global range, will effectively sharpen and at the same time look after the blade of the knives and will provide them a superbly sharp edge.
The chrome-vanadium stainless steel with a solid core is coated with two million synthetic diamond particles in a special galvanic process. To enhance its resistance to abrasion the surface is additionally hard-chrome plated. Used in the same way that a traditional “steel” would be used, the diamond sharpener is quicker and less britle than the ceramic sharpener.
