Henckels Professional “S” Knives

Traditioanl appearance combined with great technological innovation.Henckels knives incorporate the highest standards of modern technology and manufacturing processes. Henckels have developed the Sintermetal Component Technology process (SCT). This process advocates different grades of steel to be synergised into one integral product: the blade, the bolster and the tang are allowed to be manufactured from the optimum type of steel for it’s specific function. The SCT process is unique to Henckels knives.
An additional high-tech developement by Henckels is the Friodur process. This is an ice-hardening process where the steel is frozen in the course of manufacture down to -70 degrees celsius. This produces an exceptionally hard metal with a high degree of corrosion resistance.
