While the Kai Seki Magoroku Red-Wood Japanese Knives maintain the traditional Japanese knife shape, the handle is also ergonomically designed and shaped like a chestnut so it will fit comfortably in your hand.

These Japanese handles are made from Red-Wood and are water resistant, as this hardwood contains high amounts of oil. All of the knives in the Kai Seki Magoroku range are made from top quality steel with 58 ± 1 HRC hardness, and are polished through the finest grinding, ensuring a high cutting performance. These knives also offer a polished polypropylene collar between the European type blade and the comfortable handle, which complements the modern colour of the wood very well.
