Kai Shun Steel Japanese Santoku Knife (MH-0702)
The Kai Shun Steel Japanese Santoku Knife has a 6.5”/16cm blade with a 12.2cm handle, and is ideal for quick chopping and slicing of meats, fruits and vegetables.
All Kai Shun Steel Japanese Knives have a ‘chestnut’ shaped handle which has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your hand. The handles have been made from damask steel.
This knife is made up of 32 layers of damask stainless steel which gives the unique and Damascus effect and has an inner layer of V-gold-10 steel. The steel is made up of 1.0% carbon, 1.5% cobalt and 61 ± 1 HRC, and so is exceptionally hard and highly resistant to corrosion.
