Kyocera Ceramic Knives

Kyocera Ceramic Knives Sandgarten range is inspired by the Japanese Zen sand garden patterns, which has been transferred to the blades of these knives.

Kyocera Ceramic Knives are made from a new and innovatory material called Zirconia. Lighter than steel, yet second only to diamond in hardness, this is the advantage of making knives from ceramic material. Kyocera knives also retain their sharpness for longer than conventional steel knives will.

Smoother than steel, the ceramic material will slice more effortlessly through foods than will steel. Being an inert substance, it will not taint foods with any metallic compounds. It is reccomended that Kypcera ceramic knives are hand washed. Always use ceramic knives on a wooden or plastic chopping board as the ceramic material used in Kyocera ceramic knives is extremely hard and not as flexible as steel. For sharpening Kyocera knives please contact us at Cooks Knives Shop Always handle ceramic knives with care – they are lsee flexible than steel knives!
