Henckels Miyabi 7000MC Kitchen Knives are made to the very highest quality in craftsmanship being made from a hardened MicroCarbide Powder Steel (MC66), giving a hardness of .66 Rockwell. The high carbon content of the Henckels 7000MC Kitchen Knives ensures a superior hardness and excellent cutting edge retention. The core of the Henckels Miyabi 7000MC is then encompassed with layers of stainless steel which provides optimum protection against both corrosion and breakage. Finally the blade of the knife is subjected to the traditional Honbazuke Honing technique and finished with a fine whetstone by master craftsmen giving the Henckels Miyabi 7000MC Knives their superior scalpel knife edge.
Henckels Miyabi 7000MC knives have been equipped with a traditional perfectly balanced D-shaped Micarta handle which allows for tireless and seamless chopping, slicing and cutting. The Micarta handle of the Henckels Miyabi 7000MC knife has been made from a multiple layered linen/resin compound, which has been combined with stainless steel giving the Miyabi 700MC kitchen knives a stunning modern feel, whilst easy to clean and care for.
